Health minister David Ashford says he’ll eat his hat if anybody beats his Magikarp Pokemon in a battle.

It’s after Treasury Minister Alf Cannan announced changes to the way he sets the government’s budget each year.

Instead of dividing money between departments, ministers will take part in a Pokemon battle royale.

The last department in the annual contest will get all the money in future.
