A Dougas man says he isn’t racist after criticising the amount of languages he hears but can’t understand.

Himmler Quirk of Pulrose says it’s disgraceful those living on the Island should talk in a “boogie boogie language” he didn’t bother to learn before dropping out of school at 12.

But he insists it isn’t about race or the fact they’ve outstripped him by getting off their arses to find work, simply that it’s “not right”.

He’s now petitioning the government to make sure taxpayer handouts for Manx-born layabouts outstrips wages for scary forgeigners.
