A Department of Infrastructure plan to recreate 1902’s horse tram offices is being backed by government, which will extend the scheme to the whole Island.

The DOI says it’ll spend a fortune turning the building on Strathallan Crescent into a visitor centre reflecting the Island’s past.

Now, the Department of Health and Social Care says it’ll join in with plans to reintroduce diptheria and tuberculosis.

Meanwhile, the Treasury says it’ll set up workhouses for those claiming benefits and police will introduce a special “urchin squad” to catch organised crime gangs who have to pick a pocket or two.
