A team of researchers says a man needs between six and nine pints to survive a night unprotected in Foxdale.

Boffins previously thought visiting the village and having fewer than two pints would lead to madness, while drinking more than five pints might mean becoming a permanent resident.

However, extensive testing has now revealed the ideal point between being sober enough to see Foxdale as it really is, and being too drunk to resist moving there.

Last year, the same team found there isn’t enough alcohol in the world to blot out the sight of Jurby.
