Police have appealed for help from the public catching a man who was caught whistling on Monday.
The incident happened in Strand Street in Douglas at around 8.30am – officers say the area was busy with commuters at the time.
A spokesman for police said “Whistling on a Monday is stupid and dangerously irresponsible – we’d like to stamp this out before any copycat incidents result in people cheerfully turning into the office after a banging weekend.”
Police say the public should steer well clear of anybody happy enough to whistle on Monday mornings.
