Snow showers at the weekend have massively disappointed Manx Facebook whingers, as not enough flakes fell to criticise the Department of Infrastructure.

Despite a weather warning from Ronaldsway Airport, the snow was extremely light and only affected part of the Mountain Road.

Octavia Horpoteneuse of Ramsey had prepared an entire day’s social medias posts about how bad the Island’s preparations and response were.

“What am I going to complain about now?” she asked plaintively, “I suppose it’ll just have to be a demand for someone to do something about that fucking police station in Castletown.”
