Could the Isle of Man settle the “are we a tax haven or not” question once and for all?

Treasury member Bill Henderson MLC thinks so, and has challenged the European Union to nominate a champion for him to wrestle.

Big Bad Bill – as he’ll be called in what’s known as “The Ring” – says he’ll take on all comers to clear the Island’s finance sector’s anti-money-laundering regulatory good name.

“They put us on a blacklist, I put them in hospital,” he growled menacingly.
