Two women from St Johns are in a “stable” condition at Noble’s Hospital after reading an accurate, considered and empathy-filled ManxForums post.

Both were treated by paramedics on Monday night after the incident.

A spokesman for the hospital said “Fortunately, these sorts of incidents are extremely rare on the Isle of Man.

“However, we’d like to remind people to remain vigilant and aware that internet posts from normal human beings are out there on the internet.”
