The Isle of Man has closed for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
In the UK, motorway signs have been changed to divert drivers away from ferries and airports as the Manx hunker down for a weekend of binge drinking.
Local businesses are closed until next week, although the emergency services say they stand ready to deliver kebabs and cigarettes where needed.
The tradition of Easter closing began in 1821, when the Island sank three inches under the weight of visitors.
